Delicate pear and bee pollen flavors this revitalizing morning smoothie.
- 1 small organic pear
- 1 small organic lemon
- 1/4 tsp bee pollen (or less depending on personal tolerance)
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger, optional
If the fruit is organic there is no need to peel or seed any of it. However, if it isn't, definitely do so. Cut away any blemished areas.
Chunk up the pear and add to the blender container. Quarter the lemon and add along with pollen, coconut water, and ginger if using.
Process until mixture is smooth, about 1 minute. It may take longer if your blender is not powerful.
Pour into a glass and slowly sip. Do not gulp this revitalizer. When a drink is pure and full of nutrients, it can cause the chest to feel tight if gulped too quickly. Drinking slowly allows the body to process the benefits.
